ENNEREG - e-Bulletin May 2013 - Regions 202020 Inspiration Guide for Sustainable Energy Regions

Welcome to the ENNEREG e-Bulletin for May 2013. This fourth and final e-Bulletin provides an update on the Regions 202020 Inspiration Guide for Sustainable Energy Regions. The online version of the Inspiration Guide was officially launched in March 2013 and was published on DVD-ROM in May 2013.

ENNEREG - e-Bulletin October 2013 - ENNEREG Project

Welcome to the ENNEREG e-Bulletin for October 2013. Since the end of the project in April 2013, a number of reports evaluating and summarising the experiences of the ENNEREG project partners during the project have been published on the project website. This e-Bulletin provides a summary of these reports, some of which have been revised since their publication on the Regions 202020 Inspiration Guide for Sustainable Energy Regions DVD-ROM as highlighted in the May 2013 e-Bulletin.

ENNEREG - e-Bulletin March/April 2013

Welcome to the ENNEREG e-Bulletin for March/April 2013. This third e-Bulletin provides information on the IEE Sustainable Energy Communities conference in Brussels, Belgium on 18 March 2013 as well as presentations from the ENNEREG Advisory Board Meeting on 19 March 2013 and Regions 202020 Workshop and Technical Visits in Bilbao, Spain on 8-9 November 2012.

It also includes links to the reports from the Regions 202020 Inspiration Resource Pack distributed during these meetings.

Sustainable Energy Communities NEWS
Issue 4 Autumn 2012

Sustainable Energy Communities NEWS highlights the activities of five Intelligent Energy - Europe projects that promote innovative local action, inspiring cities and regions to meet EU targets for 2020 on greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency and use of renewable energy. The work of the projects started in May 2010 and, although the come2CoM project ended in May 2012 and ENESCOM finishes in November 2012, three of the projects - ENNEREG, Energy for Mayors and City_SEC - continue until April 2013.

This will be the last issue of the Sustainable Energy Communities NEWS published by the ENNEREG project, however, this website will continue to be updated during 2013 and will be available online until at least 2015. The ENNEREG project is also in the process of creating an Inspiration Guide on this site, with a separate publication available in early 2013, and news of other final project publications from ENNEREG, Energy for Mayors, City_SEC and ENESCOM will be disseminated as they become available.

ENNEREG - e-Bulletin September 2012 [EN]

Welcome to the ENNEREG e-Bulletin for September 2012. This second e-Bulletin provides information on the forthcoming ENNEREG conference in Bilbao, Spain as well as presentations from past events, including our recent conference in Poznan. It also launches the first version of the Regions 202020 Inspiration Guide, provides details of ENNEREG Replication Events and activities, including in the ENNEREG Twin Regions, as well as an update of actions in ENNEREG Pioneer Regions. Finally, it summarises 14 new ENNEREG Good Practice Case studies, added to the website since the first ENNEREG e-Bulletin was published in December 2011.

The third issue of Sustainable Energy Communities NEWS newsletter provides an update on the activities of the five projects - ENNEREG, Energy for Mayors, City_SEC, come2CoM and ENESCOM – during their second year since May 2011, highlighting specific actions in Regions and Communities throughout Europe.

Details of several forthcoming events are included in the Events Diary section of this website.  Partners from the 5 Sustainable Energy Communities Projects have been involved in several events since Issue 2 of Sustainable Energy Communities News, with reports, presentations and conclusions from these past events available in several languages.

ENNEREG - e-Bulletin December 2011 [EN]

Welcome to the ENNEREG e-Bulletin for December 2011.
     In this e-Bulletin we summarise the status of the project after the first 18 months, providing information on the progress of the 12 ENNEREG Pioneers towards becoming Sustainable Energy Regions, as well as the role that Regions can play in achieving the 20-20-20 European objectives.
     During the second half of the project, the ENNEREG Pioneers will work with ENNEREG Twins and Replication Regions to inspire development and implementation of Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs) and Projects (SEPs) throughout Europe.
     This e-Bulletin also outlines how your region and local communities can become involved in Paving the Way for Sustainable Energy in Europe by exchanging experience via the Regions 202020 Network, or replicating the actions described in the Good Practice section of this website.

Issue 1 Autumn 2010

In May 2010, five Intelligent Energy - Europe (IEE) Sustainable Energy Communities (SEC) projects joined forces to disseminate news and information on innovative local action that can inspire cities and regions to meet EU targets for 2020 on greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency and use of renewable energy. 

The five projects - ENNEREG, Energy for Mayors, City_SEC, come2CoM and ENESCOM, which represent more than 100 communities throughout Europe, are producing this joint newsletter in several European languages to be sent to thousands of sustainable energy actors.
