Aims and Objectives of this Sustainable Energy Action
The project involves implementation of the 8 tasks in buildings in Goldap Housing Association. The work will be carried out in 16 residential buildings (with 42, which Housing Association is owner) and also the boiler house at E. Plater Street.
The overall objective of the project is to increase safety and improve the attractiveness of the residence in buildings Housing Cooperative in Goldap made OWT technology.
This aim is consistent with the objective “improve the technical conditions for the increase safety and improve the attractiveness of the residence”. The general scope of the project is implemented through specific objectives:
- in the sphere of spatial-architectural:
- improve the technical conditions of residential buildings of “large slabs”
- improve the aesthetics of the city building
- in the social sphere:
- improving the attractiveness of the residence in buildings with “large slabs”
- increase availability of services
- in the economic sphere
- the development of economic activity
- creation of new jobs / decrease in unemployment
- lower cost of energy

How this Action could be Replicated
The project aims to improve the attractiveness of living and increase safety of buildings with “large plate”. Achieving the objectives of the project will contribute to increase the attractiveness of land, which results may be increasing service offerings and generate new jobs. Project results will be available to all residents of the buildings in Goldap Housing Association.
Implementation of actions will have a positive impact on the environment and its resources, and the assumptions and actions (raising energy efficiency of buildings, reduce pollutant emissions, the use of renewable energy, appropriate protection and management of waste containing asbestos) will improve the existing state of the environment and living conditions of inhabitants.
In particular, this applies to solar installation, which will be increased thanks to the share of renewable energy sources in the energy balance of the Cooperative. The total solar collector surface will be 500 m².
