Since the last ENNEREG e-Bulletin, ENNEREG has been using experience gained developing Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs) in the Pioneer Regions to encourage replication in Twin and other regions throughout Europe. The ENNEREG Pioneer Regions have been working with their Twin Regions, some of which have created regional profiles on the Regions 202020 website, including details of their Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs) and ENNEREG twinning activities. Twin Regions include:
- EE: Tartu maakond - Twinned with SE: Blekinge
- ES: Castilla y León - Twinned with ES: Euskadi - Basque Country
- IE: Mid-West Region - Twinned with UK: Cymru - Wales
- LT: Šilutė Municipality - Twinned with LT: Kaunas County
- PT: Oeste - Twinned with PT: Madeira
The article also explains how you can use the Regions 202020 Network to share your own experience of becoming a Sustainable Energy Region or Local Community.
