Summary
[EN - English]
Wales Africa Link
This project is one of our regions Sustainable Energy Projects (SEPs) and entails the staging of a photo exhibition that is being placed in various conference and meeting venues around the county of Powys, Wales, with the aim of targeting ‘hard to reach’ audiences. The high quality images will depict the nature of the community links that have been developed and will feature specific references relating to the impact of climate change.
- The exhibition has already featured at the National Eisteddfod, held in Wrexham, Wales in the first week in August, the Oxfam Victorian Festival Fashion Show in Llandrindod Wells, Powys in August 2011 and the Media Resource Centre, Llandrindod Wells throughout September 2011. Feedback so far has been very positive. The following venues have been planned for the future:
- The Wales Africa Community Links conference (October 2011)
- The Dolen Ffermio two week event in Newtown (November 2011)
- The Senedd - the main public building of the National Assembly for Wales (July 2012)
- Futher venues to be confirmed
