Municipality of Montaione ISO 50001 Ceremony

SPES Consulting Srl, a partner of the come2CoM project, is proud to announce that on 15 March 2012, the municipality of Montaione (come2CoM supported for the BEI and SEAP development) officially becomes the first municipality to hold European Energy Award (eea), ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certification.

The municipality achieved the first award (eea) in January 2008 and the last on the 29th December 2011 (ISO 50001); it is part of the Covenant of Mayors with a submitted SEAP (November 2011) with a target of the 27% of CO2 reduction.

Below you can find some more information about the municipality, which will officially receive the ISO 50001 certificate during a cerimony in Florence on 15 March 2012 with the Province of Florence active participation.
